WHERE AM I?
Located right in the heart of Koh Tao, is the incredible Montra Resort & Spa. A quiet slice of paradise located on the shore of Mae Haad Beach.
With its huge swimming pool, pool bar, beach-front restaurant & garden, luxurious rooms and convenient location, the Koh Tao Montra Resort & Spa is a must-stay destination on Koh Tao.
Travelling on a budget is something I’ve always been a fan of, and at times it has resulted in me staying is some very questionable places over the years… However after seeing photos of the Montra Resort, as well reading a couple of reviews, I had high hopes for a more luxurious place to rest my head.
Arriving to the resort, I could instantly see that the Koh Tao Montra Resort was going to surpass all my expectations! The reception and lobby is stunning, and the staff were super friendly. They showed us to our room, and gave us a hand with our rather heavy suitcase!
Upon opening our room, Anastasia and I were blown away by our room! Featuring a high ceiling, a huge (and I mean huge) king sized bed, a modern bathroom, big balcony with a view over the beautiful pool, bar and mountain ranges of Koh Tao Island; we were overwhelmed to call this place home for the next few days.
Located right on Mae Haad Beach, I cannot stress enough how perfect the location of the Koh Tao Montra Resort is! The beach at your doorstep, and the town a short walk away. From the pool, garden or restaurant, we had breathtaking views of the sunset over the Gulf of Thailand every evening!
A short walk in any direction will lead you to cafe’s, bars, shops & restaurants; as well as tourist information & ticket booking offices. With plenty to see and do on Koh Tao, the Montra Resort was the perfect place to enjoy it all!
Staying at the Koh Tao Montra Resort was a dream come true. It’s perfect location, and luxurious rooms made my stay in Koh Tao that much better.
For anyone visiting Koh Tao, I highly recommend stay at the Koh Tao Montra Resort. You can book directly through their website here: https://www.kohtaomontra.com or pay in cash on arrival.
From the beach front garden & restaurant, to the big swimming pool over looking the stunning sunsets of Mae Haad beach, my stay at the Koh Tao Montra resort had me feeling so alive I could have died happily right here…
